Refunds & Return Policy

At Little Waddles, we are committed to providing quality products. Please note the following regarding our refunds and returns:

Overview


Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange. Please note that due to the nature of certain products, specific exceptions apply.

i. No Refunds or Returns for Personalized or Customized Items

Due to the unique nature of personalized or customized items such as embroidered blankets and burpies, we do not offer refunds or returns for these items unless they are defective or do not meet the intended purpose, as per the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

ii. Activity Boxes

We do not offer refunds or returns on activity boxes once purchased unless the product is found to be defective, unsafe, or not in accordance with its description. Please note that our activity boxes are designed for children and babies and must be used under the supervision of parents or guardians.

iii. Defective or Damaged Goods

In compliance with the CPA, if a product is defective, unsafe, or does not perform as intended, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or a full refund within six months of receiving the item. This applies to:

  • Activity boxes
  • Personalized items like embroidered blankets and burpies
  • All other products sold by Little Waddles

To process a return for defective items, you must provide proof of purchase. Please contact us at info@littlewaddles.co.za  and send the item to: 78 Germains Avenue, Brakpan, 1541.

iv. Exchange of Defective Items

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt. If you need to exchange it for the same item, you must supply proof of purchase. Send us an email at info@littlewddles.co.za  and ship your item to: 78 Germains Ave, Brakpan, 1541.

v. Exemptions for Non-Defective Goods

  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
  • Change of mind
  • Non-defective or non-damaged goods that have been used or opened
  • Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

vi. Shipping Returns

To return a defective item, mail it to: 78 Germains Avenue, Brakpan, 1541. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

vii. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@littlewaddles.co.za }.

viii. Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

ix. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate  will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.
